Welcome
Would you like to make some new friends and change your perspective on life at the same time? Then join Round Table! See here for details. Why not come along to one of our social events and see what you think? No obligation, no hard sell!
In a nutshell, we are about friendship, fun and community. We hold regular & varied meetings with stimulating people with diverse interests and occupations. We also run exciting projects to entertain and benefit the town and surrounding area.
CounterStrike
Last night we went to war. Fighting our way through the tunnel complex under Fort Southwick Petersfield Tablers took on the rest of Area 1. The tunnels were dark, the odds were against us and the bullets hurt. This was CounterStrike for real using Airsoft guns. The ammo may only be lightweight plastic pellets propelled by a motor-driven spring mechanism but they sting if they hit you. We have the scars to prove it.
Frankly we got our arses kicked losing all four rounds. But were were outnumbered and maybe we were too honest about taking hits.Or perhaps our tactics were crap.
Great fun if you can take the pain.

UCAP Airsoft is based just North of Portsmouth, 100ft underground in the former U.G.H.Q (Underground HQ) used by the Royal Navy to plot the progress of the Allied troops during the invasion of Normandy on D-Day. This unique location provides some of the finest facilities for Airsoft C.Q.B in the UK.

The 3rd Ups & Downs - dated and located
The Petersfield Ups & Downs cycle ride is a 26 or 15 mile road route through the countryside around Petersfield. The event is all about having fun, enjoying the coutryside we are lucky enough to live in, and fund raising. Riders pay a modest entry fee and have the option to raise sponsorship for their own charity, or for the Round Table fund supporting local causes.
This year we are starting in the heart of town, The Square, at 10am on Sunday 13th July.

Event of the year award
Round Table has won an award for the truly spectacular Fireworks and Music event in November 2007. The first Life in Petersfield Business & community awards ceremony of 4th April 2008. Colin Smith, event chairman, collected the award with club chairman Mike Robinson. Our thanks go to Pickets & Pursers who sponsored this award.
Collecting the award
Mike gave a brief and well presented acceptance speech and mentioned the bike ride.
I would just like to thank...
It was a very well run event, although it did overrun by 90 minutes. The entertainment was varied, the presentation very professional and the attendance very good. Petersfield Round Table is delighted to have won this award, and a nomination for best non-profit organisation.
Delighted

We stage the Town Fireworks & Music display in November and our 25 Mile Bike Ride in July. These are challenging, fun for all involved and raise funds for local good causes. In Petersfield the club meets regularly and has an exciting calendar of events.
